Operational Record Books

We are now in posession of a full set of the Operational Record Books (Form 540) for both 12 & 626 Squadrons from 1942 to 1945 (apart from 12 Squadron, April 1943 which are missing from the National Archive). These are extremely important documents to us giving acurate information on aircraft and crews taking part in the many operations over occupied Europe during WWII and much additional information. We are currently updating our database to include the newly acquired information.
Book of Remembrance
The Wickenby Register's Book of Remembrance is now in place at Wickenby.
The Book of Remembrance is now on display at the Control Tower, a beautiful leather bound book listing the names of all those lost from both 12 & 626 Squadrons during WWII housed in a wooden, glass fronted display cabinet.
We have photographed the whole book so if you would like copies of a particular page please email.
